Time seems to slip by so incredibly fast and intentions fall to the wayside in the wake of other demands on one&#8217;s time and energy.  As a rule, I do not set resolutions. I don&#8217;t like the implication that something needs to be resolved or fixed. Instead I choose to set intentions and to focus my energy on manifesting what I desire for my year ahead. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This past year has not been my favourite, and sadly I did not manifest what I had intended. I am not defeated in any way by this though. If anything, my reflection on where I was last year and where I fell short this year serves only to fuel my desire to focus harder on making 2024 the year I want it to be. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Today is the first day of the year and it is time to take the first step of the journey.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>To all the beautiful beings out there, I wish you a Happy New Year and may 2024 be the space in which you create your best year yet!<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>&#8220;A journey of a thousand miles begins with a singe step&#8221; Lao Tzu As we wrap up 2023 and look ahead to the new year, I can&#8217;t help, but feel the loss.
